Quite simply one of the top courses in the UK, designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus and an achievement that the man himself is still immensely proud of. 18 holes of stunning golf in beautiful Cornish surroundings. The Nicklaus course is scheduled to host the 2011 English Open, bringing tournament golf back to St Mellion. Previous tour winners include Severiano Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal, Benhard Langer and Peter O’Malley.
This newly remodelled course is already a members favourite with 18 holes of challenging and enjoyable golf. Having also hosted tour golf in its previous days as the St Mellion “Old Course” it features 9 completely new holes wider fairways and larger, beautifully maintained greens.
Only a few miles from St Mellion lies this welcoming resort club along the banks of the mighty river Tamar. This 18 hole, par 72 course has wonderful views over the Tamar and will provide a fantastic third leg of your Tamar tour.

Trehill and Long Barn Cottages - Callington
Located just 2 miles north of St Mellion is this 4 acre estate of just seven cottages in a beautiful and peaceful lakeside setting. With added on-site amenities including fishing and a games room there is plenty to do once you have completed your rounds! The great value Tamar tour is available to guests here along with unlimited stayand play options at the China Fleet and St Mellion clubs.
Gulliver Cottage at Trehill is particularly useful for larger parties and golf societies having six good sized bedrooms.
